Welcome to Château La Sable
During this walk, you will discover our vineyards, nestled beneath the watchful eye of the Luberon Mountains, which protect us from the Mistral wind and provide us with water here, at their foothills, in the Pays d’Aigues.
All our vineyards lie within the Luberon Regional Natural Park, a UNESCO Global Geopark and Biosphere Reserve. Here, you will get to experience the very essence of Château La Sable’s terroir: sand.
This sand has travelled a long way through time, dating back to the Miocene epoch, between 10 and 20 million years ago. Along the way, you will discover our different grape varieties, from Syrah to Rolle, and from Grenache to Cinsault, as well as a small plot of Clairette and some Viognier.
You will also discover the woodland surrounding our vineyards, providing a refuge for birds that help us naturally control harmful insects. Château La Sable has been certified organic since 2022.
